A samosa seller in Noida sector-12 did something with hard work and dedication, shocking everyone. This young boy not only sold samosas but also flew his dreams. The boy who passed the NEET UG exam is a samosa seller who proved that if there is willpower, even the toughest situations cannot become an obstacle in the way.
Alakh Pandey of Physics Wallah shared the inspiring story of Sunny Kumar, an 18-year-old samosa seller from Noida, on social media, which inspired countless NEET UG candidates. Sunny Kumar passed the NEET UG exam to get admission to undergraduate medical programs. At the age of just 18, Kumar funded his studies from his small cart in Noida. He used to study after school at 2:00 pm and also work at his samosa stall. After coming home from the stall, he used to study till late at night.
Alakh Pandey shared two videos of Sunny Kumar on social media. In the first video, a wall of Sunny Kumar’s rented house is seen which is completely filled with notes. Sunny has pasted short notes all over the wall. Kumar says, “I have covered everything, there is no such thing as short notes in it.”
In the second video, Alakh Pandey briefly introduces Sunny Kumar. Sunny Kumar used to study through notes on the Twitter account of Physics Wallah unofficially. Alakh Pandey can be seen enjoying samosas which were fried in oil by Kumar.
“I used to get one to two hours after school to set up my cart or get off work. From 3 pm to 9 pm, I used to work at the samosa cart and study the rest of the night, which used to cause pain in my eyes,” Kumar recalls.
According to Physics Wallah, Kumar cleared the NEET 2024 exam with 664 marks out of 720 with just one year of preparation, while working 4-5 hours a day at his samosa stall. To help Kumar realize his dream, Pandey offered Kumar Rs 6 lakh and promised to pay his medical college tuition fees.
