Govt announced 8326 vacancies for Indian students, you can apply online

Recently Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced an important opportunity for Indian students. 8326 vacancies have been announced for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havildar posts, for which online applications can be made. This announcement has come as a big relief for students and job seekers who are looking to give a new direction to their careers.

Important Dates

Job seekers can apply online from 27-06-2024 to 31-07-2024. Applicants will be able to pay the fee online till 01-08-2024 23:00. Dates for ‘Application Form Correction Window’ and online payment of correction fee: 16-08-2024 to 17-08-2024 23:00. The exam schedule will be held in October-November 2024 which will be computer-based.

Application Process & Application Fee

The online application process is simple and user-friendly. Interested candidates need to visit the official website of the government ssc.gov.in and fill in the required information. After this, one has to upload the relevant documents and pay the application fee which is Rs. 100/-. There is no application fee for Women, SC, ST, PWD, and ESM. The only mode to make the payment is online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or Rupay Debit Cards.

Detailed Age Limit and Relaxation

MTS Posts: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of age. (Candidates should not have been born before 02-08-1999 and after 01-08-2006)

CBIC & CBN Havildar Posts: Candidates should be between 18 to 27 years of age. (Candidates must not have been born before 02-08-1997 and after 01-08-2006)

SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen candidates will be given age relaxation as per rules.

Eligibility

An applicant must have completed Matriculation or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or board.
