A shocking video has surfaced from Saudi, where the pilgrims who went to perform Hajj facing troubles. video claims, dead bodies of pilgrims left on the roadside, 22 Hajj pilgrims have died due to intense heat waves. The Saudi government is being criticized for poor management. There was no immediate confirmation of the video’s authenticity.

Media reports reveal that more than 500 pilgrims lost their lives during Hajj in Mecca as they suffered from heat-related diseases caused by temperatures above 50 degrees. The Saudi Arabian government has extremely poor management, claiming in the video that transportation services, including trains and buses, have also been stopped. And many dead bodies are lying unclaimed on the roads.

This year, Saudi Arabia is encountering severe heat during the five-day pilgrimage, with temperatures in Mecca soaring to 48 degrees Celsius. Consequently, individuals are encountering numerous challenges during Hajj, with pilgrims fainting due to the intense heat.

Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, the holiest city for Muslims. Hajj is believed to be a mandatory religious responsibility for Muslims, which should ideally be performed at least once in their lifetime by all adult Muslims who are physically and financially able to travel and support their family while living away from home. The three-day stoning ritual at Mina, a desert site outside Mecca, is one of the final rites of the pilgrimage and symbolizes the driving away of evil, and after that pilgrims leave for Medina for further prayers.

After watching the viral video, the Saudi Arabian government is being strongly criticized and its management is being called poor. Users shared many types of reactions. A user writes, ‘So this is the way of treating corpses of Muslims by Muslims in a Muslim country at the Muslim’s holy place.’
