Muslim IAS officer praises Hindu spiritual texts, says India can be Vishwa Guru

Religious tolerance and harmony have been prevalent in Indian society for thousands of years. Harmony among religions and sects is not just a sentiment here, but it is also a symbol of a unique culture and civilization. Recently, a Muslim IAS officer has acknowledged the importance of the Indian Veda, especially Hindu religious books. He said that the Vedas have taught us important lessons on saving the environment, and through them, India can become a Vishwa Guru (world leader). The video is attracting a lot of attention on social media.

In the viral video, Muslim IAS officer Niaz Khan says, ‘You will be surprised that being a Muslim, in our Islam, we never discuss the environment, greenhouse effects or what should be the benefits of vegetarianism. It is a big surprise that the first texts in the world were given in which Hindus already have such a huge treasure to save the environment, is the Vedas. ‘

He further says in the video, ‘All the Vedas of Hindus are Vedas of environment, animals, mountains, rivers, all of them have been talked about. Trees and various kinds of herbs have been talked about in it, worship of rivers, worship of water, worship of trees. Till yesterday everyone used to think it was a joke, this was the concept of Islam that it is haram to worship trees and animals. But now the whole world has understood that, give them respect, worship means respect, give respect to trees, give respect to animals. This treasure is only with the Hindus in the whole world, if we wanted, we could have become Vishwa Guru in the movement of the environment. ‘ With this the video ends.

This wonderful proposal is worth keeping in mind, how great India can be under a cultural and religious union. The Muslim IAS officer has promoted the importance of Indian literature through the evaluation of the Vedic texts, which allows us to be proud of our culture. The messages of the Veda texts are highly valuable to Indian society. These texts are a treasure trove of knowledge, which teaches us to respect and protect our environment. Apart from this, the Vedas also pray for peace and prosperity for the world.
