It is well-known that the Bollywood industry has largely been influenced by people who haven’t heir link-ups in the industry. The so-called star kids of already established ones are already in the headlines for all the reasons and are allowed to stay there despite their success or failure.
On the contrary, talented ones are struggling to set their feet. Sushant Singh Rajput’s unexpected demise left everyone in shock, including his co-actress and ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. His death by suicide was because he was going through a mental bouts of depression. Though the reason was still unclear, the whole nation has been indicting nepotism for the death of this extremely talented actor.
Social media users are very angry with the big celebrities in the industry. Many are demanding that movies of Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Bhansali, YRF, etc. should be boycotted to teach them a lesson.
There were reports according to which the Bollywood star was banned by some big production houses including producers such as Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, etc. Some video clips of old videos are also going viral on social media platforms in which A-listers or the star kids are seen making fun of Sushant during a talk show or at other events.
One of such video clips was of Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor on the sets of ‘Koffee With Karan’ where she denied knowing who Sushant Singh Rajput even was. This led to several users trolling her and some even criticised her for being Anil Kapoor’s daughter, an identity without which she would not have made it big in film industry.
Reacting to people online, Sonam Kapoor tweeted saying how she was proud to be Anil Kapoor’s daughter. The actress wrote, “Today on Father’s Day id like to say one more thing, yes I’m my fathers daughter and yes I am here because of him and yes I’m privileged. That’s not an insult, my father has worked very hard to give me all of this. And it is my karma where I’m born and to whom I’m born. I’m proud.”
