Recently, a video was seen on social media in which a 70-year-old man is doing social service on the streets of Delhi by giving Jaljeera water for just Rs 2. Shikanji vendors or juice corners can be seen at every corner on the streets of Delhi, but this elderly uncle’s stall remains crowded because people are crazy about the taste of his Jaljeera.

70-year-old uncle does not aspire to earn thousands and lakhs of rupees by selling Jaljeera but he sells Jaljeera for only Rs 2 so that he can serve society. According to the video, the uncle brings the goods loaded in the rickshaw at around 11 in the morning. One by one the goods come out of the rickshaw and start setting up, first of all, the tables are set and then the boxes of spices and chutneys are placed. Once the setup is ready, he prepares Jaljeera water in a big steel container.

To make Jaljeera, ‘Jaljeera’ water is poured inside a container in which lemon is cut and put in large quantities, then more water is added to it and ice is added to it to cool it during summer days. After this, Uncle’s secret Jaljeera flavored water is mixed which he made and it is quite spicy. After this, spices are added in it, first of all, black salt, then cumin powder and then some secret spices are added. And lastly, mint leaves are added to it and then this water is mixed well. And Jaljeera water is ready.

The elderly uncle first offers it to Lord Shiva and then mixes the offered Jaljeera in the container. There is a rush of customers after 11 o’clock. Many times people drink more than one glass of Jaljeera water and the crowd is so huge that the uncle doesn’t even remember who gave money and who didn’t. Some people also take Jaljeera in bottles, which the uncle gives in a bottle for just Rs.10. Uncle sells Jaljeera in this stall from 11 am to 1 pm. In just two hours, a huge steel container gets empty because of the crowd.
