Amitabh Bachchan, also known as Big B, expressed his gratitude to Elon Musk, the head of Twitter, for giving back his blue verification mark on Twitter. This came after the mark was removed on April 21 due to the company stopping its original verification system.
The legendary actor warmly referred to Musk as ‘Brother Musk’ and even dedicated a Hindi poem to him, showcasing his admiration.
“T-4624 – Hey brother Musk! Thank You very much! ‘Neel Kamal’ (Blue Tick) is back before my name. Now tell me, brother, would you like to listen to a song? I like to sing a song. Listen: ‘Tu cheez badi hai Musk Musk’”, Big B tweeted in Hindi after the Blue tick returned on his profile.
For the unversed, Twitter stopped its original verification program on April 20, introducing a monthly subscription called Twitter Blue instead. This change led to numerous well-known Indian figures, from Bollywood stars to business magnates, losing their verification status starting April 21.
This caused quite a stir. Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Virat Kohli are among those who lost their blue verification tick because they didn’t subscribe to the Twitter Blue plan.
Big B who once lost the blue tick on X, tweeted in hindi: “T 4623 – Hey Twitter Are you listening? Now I have given the money too… so that ‘Neel Kamal’ (Blue tick) is right there, put it back brother. People will know that wer are the ones – Amitabh Bachchan. I am folding my hands, shoud I fall at your feet now?”
As per the sources, Elon Musk responded to Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet, “Never seen someone doing more useless things on this app than this….”
However, we haven’t been able to verify the authenticity of it. Elon Musk didn’t tweet this and hence it’s fake.
