A shocking and shameful case has come to light from the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh. A Muslim man crossed all limits of brutality and raped a 1-year-old girl. This incident shocked everyone deeply by committing such a misdeed with a minor girl. According to reports, the incident occurred on Saturday (February 17) evening. The victim was playing at that time. Rehman took the girl to the fields on the pretext of feeding her.
After this he raped a 1 year old innocent girl. After the girl’s condition deteriorated, Rehman threw her body into the yard and fled from the spot. Upon learning of the matter, the victim’s family immediately informed the police and admitted her to the Community Health Center (CHC) Nanpara for immediate medical treatment. Later victim was shifted to Lucknow Medical College for better treatment.
A police team led by Mithilesh Kumar Rai reached the crime scene and started investigating the case. Superintendent of Police (Bahraich), Vrinda Shukla, stated, “An incident of rape of a 1-year-old innocent girl has come to light in Nanpara police station area.” “A 50-year-old man committed the crime. Information about the matter was given to the police…the accused has already been arrested. Considering that the girl is just one year old, we are shifting her to Lucknow for better treatment.
SP Shukla further stressed, “This is a heinous crime. I would request that the special POCSO court conduct the trial expeditiously and punish the culprit as soon as possible. Now a case has been registered against Bhondu Rehman under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Child Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
This incident has caused surprise and shock in the society and has weakened the people’s confidence. People are strongly protesting against this incident and demanding immediate action from the local administration.
