The use of chemicals helps in making the vegetables stale instead of fresh, but it can be harmful to people’s health. Many of these chemicals are such that they can cause serious diseases like cancer. Often vegetable sellers use a chemical called malachite green to make their vegetables green and shiny. This chemical is mostly used in frozen green peas.

Whenever you buy any green vegetable, there is a liquid called Liquid Paraffin in it, you have to take it with the help of a cotton ball and rub that vegetable with cotton.
