In the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, a case has come to light from the UK whose video is going viral on social media and is a very condemnable video. A pro-Palestine supporter throws a bunch of mice inside a McDonald’s outlet in the UK. And at the end of the video, he shouts “Free Palestine”. Due to this, the concern of increasing tension has increased.
In the video, activists wearing ‘Free Palestine’ number plates and Palestinian flag hats can be seen entering the Birmingham restaurant carrying boxes full of rodents. He displays them to a group of teenagers before setting the mice free on the floor, causing panic among the customers.
At the end of the video, the activist urges people to boycott McDonald’s, Starbucks, and Disney and accuses them of supporting Israel. McDonald’s Israel faced criticism after announcing free meals for Israeli soldiers during the ongoing conflict with Hamas. According to foreign media reports, the man’s act was a protest against the fast-food chain’s alleged support of the Israeli military.
In response to the incident, McDonald’s confirmed that several mice were released inside the restaurant. A representative from McDonald’s confirmed, “We have been made aware of an incident that occurred at our Birmingham Star City branch this evening, during which an individual released a group of rats.” Promptly, the restaurant responded by eliminating the rodents and implementing comprehensive sanitation measures. Pest control experts were also called in for a thorough inspection. The incident has drawn attention to the need for peaceful and constructive ways of expressing grievances.
