Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza, a video of Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Zahar issuing a stark warning to the world that highlights the Palestinian terror group’s ambitions for global control has gone viral on social media. The video clip was shared by an investigative journalist and a verified handle on Amy Mek’s ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) associated with the RAIR Foundation.
In a viral video clip initially released by MEMRI TV in December 2022, senior Hamas commanders made a statement asserting that their focus extends beyond Israel as the primary target. They revealed their ultimate ambition: to extend their influence globally.
The ominous warning comes after Israel declared war on Hamas, prompted by a shocking attack that left hundreds of Israelis dead.
“Israel is only the first target. The entire planet will be under our rule,” Zahar said bluntly in the video. He continued to outline his vision for a world devoid of injustice and oppression, criticizing the treatment of Palestinians and Arabs in various countries.
Following the reemergence of this video, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stern warning, reasserting his dedication to the ongoing struggle against Hamas and designating every member of the Palestinian group as a potential target .”Hamas is equal to Daesh (the Islamic State group), and we will eliminate them just as the world eliminated Daesh,” he insisted during a televised address.
In response to the escalating crisis, Hamas members holding Israeli soldiers and civilians captive issued a chilling threat, threatening to execute one hostage without warning for every Gaza house attacked by Israel. However, there was no immediate confirmation that Hamas carried out this threat.
Meanwhile, Israel responded by forming an emergency unity government, uniting efforts into a war cabinet under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz.
Amidst the Israel-Gaza conflict, a viral video featuring Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Zahar warning of global ambitions has raised concerns. Israel vows to combat Hamas, likening them to ISIS, while a hostage threat remains unconfirmed. Israel formed an emergency unity government under Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz to address the crisis.
