In fact, a few days ago, Urfi Javed gave a statement regarding Muslim men. After this, questions were raised about Urfi’s thinking about Islam. Urfi Javed has already decided that she will never wed any Muslim boy. However, she also stated the reason behind it.
During an interview, Urfi says that “I will never marry a Muslim man. Muslim men want to treat the women in their house in a particular way. Muslim men want to keep their control over all the women in the society. I don’t believe in Islam or follow any other religion. So, it doesn’t matter to me whether I fall in love with a person from which community or not. I will marry whomever I want to marry.”
Urfi Javed said that despite being a Muslim, most Muslim people troll her. Those people feel that I am tarnishing the image of Islam. They despise me because Muslim men demand specific behaviour from their wives. And because of this, she has lost faith in Islam.
Urfi Javed says that religion should not be forced to follow. Everyone has the right to select and practice any religion they wish. She said, my mother is a very religious woman, but she has never imposed religion on us. My siblings follow Islam, but I don’t. She never forced me to follow the religion and that is how it should be. You cannot impose religion on your wife and children. It should come from the heart. If it is not so then neither you will be happy nor Allah.
