Nepotism refers to the practice of showing favoritism towards one’s family members or friends, especially in professional or business settings, regardless of their qualifications or abilities. It is a form of unfair advantage that can undermine merit-based systems and opportunities for individuals who are more qualified or deserving.
Nepotism can occur in various fields, including politics, business, entertainment, and sports. It can have negative consequences for organizations, such as reduced productivity, low morale, and a lack of diversity and innovation.
However, one must note that Arjun Tendulkar deservedly earned his place in the team through hard work.
