Shatabdi Express is a series of high-speed passenger trains operated by Indian Railways. They are considered to be among the fastest trains in India, with speeds up to 150 km/h (93 mph).
The Shatabdi Express trains are fully air-conditioned and are equipped with modern amenities such as reclining seats, food service, and entertainment systems.
They are primarily designed to connect major cities and are aimed at providing a comfortable and fast travel experience for business and leisure travelers.
The first Shatabdi Express was introduced in 1988, and since then, the service has expanded to cover several routes across India. The trains are named after prominent historical and cultural sites in India, and their interiors are often decorated with artwork and motifs inspired by those places.
