Recently, Virat Kohli shared his class 10th mark sheet on the social media platform ‘Koo’ and spoke about how these things add to your character. “It’s funny how the things that add the least to your marksheet, add the most to your character,” Kohli captioned his post on Koo.
The former Indian captain’s 10th class mark sheet showcased his score in various subjects. The world’s best batsman scored 83 in English, 75 in Hindi, 51 in Mathematics, 55 in Science, 81 in Social Science, and 74 in Introduction to IT. Overall, Kohli scored 69.8% marks in his class 10th.
Kohli might not have excelled in the field of academics but he set high standards for himself at a very young age that he wants to become a cricketer one day to represent the nation with pride. He developed an interest to play the game. He initially struggled but after a hoard of practice sessions, he was able to middle the balls deftly and that’s how the journey started.
Today, he is hailed as the best batsman in the world. His records serve as a testament to the fact. He is tagged as the run-machine for his impeccable ability to score runs at a brisk pace.
Today, he has scored 75 centuries in international cricket. He scored 46 centuries in ODIs, 28 centuries in Tests and 1 century in T20Is. Moreover, he is also the fittest cricketer in the globe and given his fitness, he has all the tools and ingredients to achieve more in the next five to six years.
He became the fastest to reach 10,000 runs and going by the speed at which Kohli is batting, he is bound to break all the records set by his idol Sachin Tendulkar. Yes, we can surely expect that from this guy who always gives 120% commitment on the field.
