Vicky Kaushal happily tied the knot with Bollywood star Katrina Kaif by exchanging wedding vows on December 9, 2021 and they have been living happily together ever since.
The Bollywood celebrities got married in the presence of their close friends and family members. During an interview with Filmfare, Vicky recalled how his parents reacted to his decision to marry Katrina.
“They were very happy. They are extremely fond of her. They’re extremely in love with the person that she is. I think when there’s goodness in your heart, it always just reflects in everything that you do and everything that you are,” he said.
When being asked about his married life with Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal added, “It’s been beautiful. It’s been like the best chapter of my life. It’s the most wonderful feeling to have a companion with whom you connect, who understands you and who you understand thoroughly.
Because it puts you in a peaceful, blissful state of mind that makes you feel loved all the time. And when you feel loved, you feel like giving love not just at home but outside the house as well. It just brings out the best version of yourself.”

Meanwhile, actress Katrina Kaif opened up that both she and her hubby, Vicky Kaushal, held fast for each other on Karwa Chauth. In a recent interview, she said Vicky Kaushal preferred to fast by himself. Katrina also disclosed that she felt extremely hungry when she had to wait longer for the rituals.
While speaking with Pinkvilla, Katrina added, “I was hungry. (laughs) I have to report to you… everyone had, I mean… all the online, the thing was the moon was going to be seen in Mumbai at 9:01 and it was not seen, I think, till 9:35. And it’s almost like your mind is prepared for what it’s expected, but after 9 to 9:30, I was like ‘I’m hungry! I’m really, really hungry!'”
