Australia humiliate India in the 2nd ODI, Anand Mahindra gives honest reaction
Australian players are currently in India for an important assignment. Earlier, Team India won the Border Gavaskar Trophy series by 2-1. Now, the action shifted to the ODI series between the two heavyweights. The first ODI went in favour of India as they won the game by 5 wickets to draw the first blood in the series.
Talking about the second ODI, India failed to operate as a team as they were bundled out like a pack of cards. The Men in Blue were bowled out for a mere 117 in 26 overs. Virat Kohli top-scored with 31 runs whereas Axar Patel remained unbeaten on 29.
In response, Australia chased down the target in just 11 overs at a rapid pace. They didn’t lose even a single wicket and won the game by 10 wickets to level the series. Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head scored 66 and 51 runs respectively in the run-chase and got the job done.
The third and final ODI between India and Australia will take place on March 22 in Chennai. Meanwhile, after Australia humiliated India in the second ODI, Anand Mahindra took to Twitter and posted his honest reaction. He wrote, “I thought there was a cricket match on today, but I guess I must have been dreaming…”
