Rubika Liyaquat is an Indian news anchor and journalist. She is basically known for her anchoring at one of the major news providing television channels, ABP news.
She was born and raised in the Udaipur city of Rajasthan on April 18, 1983 in Udaipur to her parents, father Amar Liyaquat, and mother Fatima Liyaquat. Fatima Liyaquat is a scientist by profession and she holds a Ph.D degree in Environmental Science. She has one sister and her name is Anjum Liyaquat
She completed her elementary education from Gregarious Senior Secondary school, Udaipur.
After completion of her school, Rubika completed graduation in mass media from a prestigious university in Mumbai.
During her course of journalism, she did her three months internship at a news channel Channel 24 in 2003 and completed her graduation in year 2005.
In April 2012, she got married to a journalist, Naved Qureshi. They have one boy and one girl.
Rubika’s career
Rubika Liyaquat started her career as a news anchor in channel Live India in year 2007. Where she worked till 2008. Later on, she joined News 24 as a news anchor. Afterwards, she joined Zee News. Her anchoring skills for the show called ‘Taal Thok Ke ‘, was enough to grab her viewer’s attention. After sometime, she was promoted as the senior anchor and editor where she worked for a few years.
In august 2018, Rubika resigned from Zee News and joined ABP News; she has been working ever since.
According to Rubika, the star journalist, Sudhir Choudhary is her inspiration.
