Former Indian captain Virat Kohli made the headlines after he chipped in with a three-word comment on Cristiano Ronaldo-Lionel Messi’s internet-breaking picture. Ahead of the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, two of the greatest footballers in the world namely Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi posted a picture together which broke the internet.
The iconic picture went viral across social media portals and it was termed as the “pic of the century” by the fans. Notably, the pictures were shared at the same by the two legendary footballers on their respective social media handles on the eve of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Meanwhile, former India skipper Virat Kohli, who has long confessed have been a Ronaldo fan, too responded to the picture, dropping an epic three-word comment.
The picture, where both the greats of the world’s most-watched sport, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo can been seen playing chess together with both the stalwarts pretty much focused on over the next move.
It was part of an advertisement for Louis Vuitton and was also shared at exactly at 11 PM IST on Saturday night from their respective social media handles. The caption reads: “Victory is a State of Mind.”
Former Indian captain Virat Kohli responded to the image with a three-word comment. He wrote, “What a picture.”
On the other hand, Ronaldo said, “I would like to be the player to checkmate Messi, it happened in the chess game and in football, it would be magic.”
“Even if I win the World Cup that debate will continue. Some people like me more, some people like me less, like in life, some like blondes, some like brunettes. The World Cup will always be a showcase. But if you tell me you won’t win any more tournaments in your career, I would still be happy, given all I have achieved,” Ronaldo added.
