India’s popular business tycoon Anand Mahindra made the headlines recently after he made a special appeal to drivers after he stumbled upon a video of Mahindra Thar that effortlessly drove across a flooded road in Bengaluru.
Although the business magnate expressed his delight that his company’s vehicle could potentially save the lives of passengers by not drowning them, he had requested people not to take risks.
The entrepreneur took to his official Twitter handle and penned a message, which has been doing the rounds on the internet. He wrote, “overconfidence should not lead to attempting hazardous exploits”.
Mahindra Group chairman wrote, “I’m gratified that the car kept its passengers mobile & safe. Also grateful for our customer’s faith in our cars. But I worry about people taking undue risks. I appeal to customers that overconfidence should not lead to attempting hazardous exploits”.
Anand Mahindra is one of the most admired personalities in India. The billionaire tycoon is also quite active on the micro-blogging Twitter platform. Every now and then, he comes up with interesting or catchy tweets to engage with his fans and followers on social media.

Recently, the chairman of the group, Anand Mahindra provided a huge update after a teen built “Iron Man” suit from scrap. Anand Mahindra took to his official Twitter handle to update netizens that the 22-year-old boy who created an ‘Iron Man’ suit from scrap materials was now an engineer.
“He is now an engineering student,” the billionaire wrote, stating that he recently interned at Mahindra’s Auto Design Studio.
“Move over Tony Stark. Make way for the REAL Iron Man. And it would be a privilege to assist him & his siblings in their education. If someone can connect me to him, it will be a privilege for me & @KCMahindraEduc1 to support him. (@jaavedjaaferi for forwarding the video)
“Many of you may remember Prem’s story. We were delighted when he accepted our offer of joining @MahindraUni where he is now an engineering student. And this past summer he interned at Mahindra’s Auto Design Studio under the tutelage of @BosePratap,” Mahindra wrote.
“I was very pleased when Pratap told me that Prem’s had a very successful summer internship—working specifically on advanced car door opening mechanisms. Most important Pratap praised Prem’s inclination to ‘learn by making things.’ We need more of that mode of education!,” Mahindra tweeted.
