Virat Kohli is one of the best players in the world across all formats of the game. He is currently out of form and it’s been a long time since he scored a century in international cricket. He was last seen raising his bat after scoring a century back in 2019 against Bangladesh.
He was last seen playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the fifteenth edition of the Indian Premier League. He didn’t play to his full potential as he registered three golden ducks. However, he scored two fifties to his name. He was rested for the T20I series against South Africa and he is expected to be back in cricketing action for India’s tour of England.
Virat Kohli will be playing the fifth Test (rescheduled) after it was postponed due to coronavirus cases in the camp last year. After that, he will play three T20Is and as many ODIs. Kohli is also the most followed athlete in Asia and is also the most followed cricketer on Instagram.
Recently, he completed a unique milestone of achieving 200 million followers on the micro-blogging Instagram platform. Notably, Kohli is now the third most followed sports athlete on Instagram, only behind football icons Cristiano Ronaldo, who leads the way with 451 million followers and Lionel Messi, who has 334 million followers.
