When it comes to the name “Khan”, three names come to our mind. They are none other than Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Notably, they are successful actors and have time and again delivered hit films. Notably, they have a massive fan base across the world.
In fact, all these three actors are unrelated. However, they happen to share the same surname. Surprisingly, all three of them were born in 1965. It is due to their longevity and popularity that they are considered the most successful actors in the history of Indian cinema.
Talking about Shah Rukh Khan, in particular, he is famously known as SRK, is a recognised Indian actor, and film producer. He is also referred to as the “Baadshah of Bollywood”, “King of Bollywood” and “King Khan”.
He has acted in as many as 80 Hindi films in his career. He earned several honours to his name including 14 Filmfare Awards. In fact, he loves to interact with his fans and followers on social media portals.
Meanwhile, a few years ago, there were widespread speculations that Shah Rukh Khan was secretly dating Priyanka Chopra. When the news or reports reached SRK, the actor added that he was indeed disturbed.
For the uninitiated, the two actors worked together in Don 1 and 2. During the time when their link-up speculations were doing the rounds, SRK’s wife Gauri Khan allegedly removed Priyanka Chopra from their inner circle and had also asked SRK to keep his distance from her.
She also told him to never work with the Dostana star ever again. As quoted by MensXP, SRK told, “To me, what is most disturbing, is the fact that a lady who’s worked with me has been questioned and somewhere down the line, not being shown the kind of respect I show her or all the women.”
“I think it’s a little disrespectful, I’m extremely sorry about that. Sorry means…it’s not directly because of anything I’ve done but the fact that she’s my friend. She’s one of the closest friends I have and very close to my heart and always will be.”
“I just feel sometimes when things are said, I needed to step back from it because I find it very banal, very small, and very menial. You know, it just tends to spoil relationships that people share while working together. She’s a little girl who started her Miss India crowning with me and or Miss World crowning with me, I don’t remember. We’ve shared some of the nicest moments on screen as friends and it’s unfortunate. It’s extremely unfortunate and sad for me to think that you know, a friendship gets a little soiled,” he said.
He was asked if the linkup rumours affected his friendship with Priyanka Chopra. To which, SRK said, “No, not at all. I think, she’s matured enough to deal with it. But having said that we all rush into giving names to relationships without even understanding them at times. That’s the strange part, not only of media, all of us.”
