Planning a wedding in advance helps you to organise the ceremony rather smoothly. It is quite obvious that the concerned family spend tiring weeks preparing for an event. It includes activities like shopping, calling photographers, arranging caterers, sending invites and so on.
Now get ready to hear an entirely different story. In a shocking turn of events, the bride married sister’s groom after a mix-up owing to a power failure in Madhya Pradesh. Yes, you read it right! We are not kidding.
Let’s learn about the incident in detail. In fact, two sisters were getting married in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain. As it turned out, things got mixed up quite a bit due to a power failure. During a power cut, that is in the dark, the brides performed the wedding ceremony but with the wrong groom.
The incident took place on Sunday as Rameshlal’s two daughters, Nikita and Karishma were getting hitched to Dangwara Bhola and Ganesh, 2 youths from different families. Since the brides were in veils and the costume of both were the same, literally, nobody came to know about the mix-up during the time of the wedding rituals.
In fact, even the wedding pandit also got the grooms to do rounds with the changed brides. The mix-up was realized when the grooms took their brides home. In the wake of a brief dispute, a settlement took place. The bride and groom were asked to do the ceremony once again the following day.
