Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd’s Executive Director Namita Thapar worked for about 6 years in the United States for Guidant Corporation, after which she joined Emcure. She owns a BMW X7 which is estimated at Rs. 2 crores. The luxury car comprises a 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder diesel engine that produces 261 BHP.
2. Vineeta Singh
Vineeta Singh is the co-founder of the Indian-based cosmetics company SUGAR cosmetics. Although there is not much information about where Vineeta specifically worked before co-founding SUGAR cosmetics, reports suggest that she turned down a ‘one crore per year’ placement offer to start her own company, which turned out to be a failure. She has a Mercedes Benz GL-Class, which is estimated at Rs. 79.78 lakhs and Rs. 79.78 lakhs.
3. Ghazal Alagh
Ghazal worked as a Corporate Trainer at NIIT for two years, from 2008 to 2010. After this, she joined Being Artsy as an artist while trying to start several new ventures before co-founding MamaEarth, an Indian cosmetics company known for its chemical-free natural products. She owns an Audi A8 with a 3.0-litre V6 engine that produces 35 horsepower and 500 Nm of peak torque, which is valued at Rs. 1.86 crores.
4. Anupam Mittal
After completing his MBA in the USA, Anupam worked for a business intelligence software company, MicroStrategy, as their Product Manager. He worked there till he founded People Group, of which he is also the CEO. He drives a Lamborghini Huracan, which costs Rs. 3.6 crore. It has a V10 engine that produces 572 horsepower. Notably, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
5. Peyush Bansal
Peyush Bansal used to work as a program manager at Microsoft Corporation in the United States before he founded Lenskart, the leading e-commerce portal for eyewear in India. Peyush is also the Ceo of his company.
6. Ashneer Grover
Ashneer Grover is the co-founder/managing director at BharatPe, an Indian-based electronic payment app. After completing his MBA, he worked as the vice president in Kotak Financing Bank till 2013, when he left to take up the position of the Director of Corporate Development at American Express. He left American Express in 2015 to work as the Chief
Financial Officer of Grofers till 2017 when he left to join PC Jeweller Limited. It was only after 2018 that he became a business owner. For the unversed, he is a car enthusiast. In fact, he owns exotic vehicles like the Porsche 718 Cayman, Audi A6, Mercedes-Maybach S650, and GLS 350, all of which are estimated at millions of dollars.
