Shark tank India was a hit among the Indian audience. Basically what the show is about is that young and upcoming entrepreneurs get a chance to pitch their ideas in front of a panel to try and persuade them to invest their money in their business.
It is based on how good their pitch and business prospects are. Since the show has been aired the audience has been keener to know about the panel and their background and personal lives.
Here is a list of the panellists and their significant other :
1. Aanchal Kumar:
The wife of Anupam Mittal is a model and actress who we have seen in movies like Bluffmaster and Fashion. She has also been a contestant in the Indian reality television show, Bigg Boss in its fourth season. She is also a part of big brands, and their advertisement campaigns namely, Bombay dyeing, Rexona, Sunsilk, and such. The couple got married in 2013 and 6-7 years of dating. The two have a beautiful daughter, Alyssa Mittal.
2. Madhuri Jain Grover:
Wife of Ashneer Grover, Madhuri is also recognized as an entrepreneur. She is currently the group head controls at BaharatPe. She has previously worked as an interior designer as well. When the company was started she worked and managed some internal operations of the company including managing finance and human resources.
3. Kaushik Mukherjee:
Kaushik and Vineeta Singh co-founded SUGAR cosmetics together. Kaushik is the COO and Vineeta the CEO of the company. The two share two beautiful kids. Before co-founding the company Kaushik tried to start up two businesses, an e-commerce company and an online insurance portal both of which shut down.
4. Vikas Thapar:
Vikas Thapar is the husband of Namita Thapar, the CEO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, as the President of Corporate development, strategy, and finance at Emcure Pharmaceutical. They have two children. Vikas reportedly holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science from the University of California and did his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business, a university in North Carolina.
5. Nidhi Mittal Bansal:
The wife of Peyush Bansal, Nidhi is a professional that works in the field of media. She has previously worked with The Pioneer and India Today. She is the founder of Boostnet, which is a content management company. Currently, she is also the Chairperson of the Lenskart Foundation.
6. Varun Alagh:
Varun Alagh is the husband of Ghazal Alagh. The pair have been married for 11 years and co-founded Mamaearth in 2016. The brand ensures to provide natural and toxin-free products that are safe to use by babies and everyone else.
7. Priya Dagar:
Wife of Aman Gupta, Priya is currently working as the Senior Policy Advisor, at the embassy of the Netherlands, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two got married in 2008 and have two daughters together. In 2015, she started working as a Senior Policy Leader for Energy, Environment, and Climate Change at the embassy.
