Bolly filmmakers have recently focused on sequels to older films. Although some sequels of films have become blockbusters, others have failed to capture the hearts of audiences.
The Dhoom series, Aashiqui 2, and Hera Pheri franchises, for example, have all been hugely profitable. During the coronavirus epidemic, filmmakers postponed the release dates of their anticipated films, and some of them are now available on OTT portals.

Badhaai Do

Following the success of Badhai Ho, the filmmakers decided to develop a sequel. So they decided to make Badhai Do, which is the sequel to Badhai Ho, and they are anticipating a similar reception.
Badhai Do’s producers want to work with some of Bollywood’s most brilliant and youthful actors right now. According to reports, the principal parts would be played by Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkumar Rao, two great actors.
Rajkumar will play a cop, while Bhumi will play a PT Trainer with a lot of ambition who aspires to play handball on a national level. Although the film’s production is not yet complete, the producers want to release it in 2021.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
In the year 2007, Bhool Bhulaiyaa became a very popular cult film in Bollywood, with a touch of comedy. Priyadarshan’s other popular creation, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, featured actors such as Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Amisha Patel, and others.
Following the huge success of this film, the producers decided to make a sequel. In 2021, the makers decided to release the second instalment of Bhool Bhulayiaa 2, in which they cast actors such as Kartik Aryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in lead roles.
Bunty Aur Babli 2
Bunty Aur Babli is one of Bollywood’s most memorable and well-liked films. Bunty Aur Babli is a story about two separate people who commit crimes together in a lighthearted manner and eventually fall in love with each other.
Following the enormous success of Bunty Aur Babli, the filmmakers decided to develop Bunty Aur Babli 2 for the audience, attempting to refresh the theme of Bunty Aur Babli. Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Saif Ali Khan, and Sharwari Wagh are among the cast’s seasoned and attractive members.
Satyameva Jayate 2
Satyameva Jayate was released in 2018 and produced a solid effect on the audience, in what turned out to be a good box office collection in Bollywood. The directors of Satyameva Jayate chose to develop a new portion of it after a successful release, and according to sources, the second part would be released in 2021. Dostana 2
Dostana, a film starring Abhishek Bachan, Priyanka Chopra, and John Abraham, was released in 2008. Dostana tells the story of two heterosexual guys who pretended to be homosexuals to find a place to live, with Priyanka Chopra playing the landlady, and both lads falling in love with her in the end. Following the success of the first film, Karan Johar decided to release a sequel in which he wants to portray homosexual relationships.
The second instalment of Dostana will most likely be released in 2021.
Following Kartik Aryan, Akshay Kumar will play the lead, with Janhvi Kapoor, Lakshya Lalwani, and Abhishek Banerjee rounding out the cast.
Go Goa Gone 2
Go Goa Gone, starring Kunal Khemu, Saif Ali Khan, and Vir Das, was an extremely funny zombie film released in 2013. The protagonists were trapped on an island with zombies, but they eventually managed to escape and amused the audience.
The filmmakers intend to make a sequel to this film, which is set to be released in 2021. Extraterrestrial beings are the focus of the plot, not Zombie.
