Bollywood is one of the most important industries, with over a hundred films produced each year. Many people aspire to star in Bollywood, and TV celebrities have shown an interest in doing so.
Actors such as Sushant Singh Rajput, Mohit Raina, and others tried their luck and were rewarded handsomely. Many TV actors, on the other hand, have refused to work in Bollywood.

Ankita Lokhande
Ankita Lokhande portrayed Archana in ZeeTV’s Pavitra Rishta. She also appeared in season 4 of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa alongside his companion Sushant Singh Rajput, who was a prominent Bollywood actor. She made her Bollywood debut in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, where she played the role of Jhalkaribai.
Shaheer Sheikh
He was a lawyer before working on television, and he rose to fame after appearing on the Indian reality show Splitsvilla. He rose to prominence as a result of his roles in serials such as Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Mahabharat.
He turned down jobs in Bollywood because he believes that good TV programmes are more important than modest appearances in Bollywood films.
Adaa Khan
She began her career as Aakashi in the show Behenein and went on to star in several serials like Amrit Manthan, Naagin, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, and Piya Basanti Re. However, she has turned down numerous Bollywood offers since, according to rumours, she is not yet ready; however, she will do so if she feels prepared for the opportunity.
Mohit Raina
Mohit got well-known for his outstanding performance as Mahadev in Devo Ke Dev Mahadev. He turned down Bipasha Basu’s invitation to star in Creature 3D because he wanted to stay in the television industry. However, he was given a fantastic opportunity in the film URI: The Surgical Strike, which was released in 2019, for his outstanding performance.
Drashti Dhami
Dill Mill Gayye, Geet – Hui Sabse Pyari, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani are some of Drashti’s best shows. She played Singham in the film Singham Returns, but she turned down an offer because she considered Madhubala as her top-most priority.
Jay Soni
Jay was well-known for his roles in productions such as Prithviraj Chauhan’s Dharti Ka Veer Yodha, Sasural Genda Phool, and Sanskaar – Dharohar Apno Ki. After his debut film Dil Maange More in 2003, he also turned down Bollywood offers. According to accounts, he was pleased with his television roles.
Kapil Sharma
Kapil Sharma is a well-known talk show host who can also perform stand-up comedy. He made his Bollywood debut with the film Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karun, but after that, he began to decline offers from the industry. Because his schedule was already too tight, he turned down an offer to star in the film Bank Chor.
Karan Tacker
When he first appeared as Viren Vadhera in the show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, his looks swept the country. He is an accomplished actor, model, and influencer. It was claimed that Karan had been offered a role in the next Karan Johar film Student of the Year 2, but he denied the reports.
Mrunal Thakur
Mrunal featured in Kumkum Bhagya, and her acting skills impressed Aamir Khan and Aditya Chopra enough that they wanted her to star in their film Thugs of Hindostan, but she declined, and Fatima Sana Sheikh was cast instead. She did, however, star alongside Hrithik Roshan in Super 30 and performed a fantastic job.
