The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has launched one of the biggest fundraising campaigns on January 15 for the construction of the Ayodhya Ram temple and will go on till February 27. It has received a donation around ₹100 crores so far, said General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Champat Rai on Sunday.
Meanwhile, many Muslim groups in Uttar Pradesh have joined hands with volunteers of Hindu organisations in collecting donation for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Many Muslim brothers and sisters have come forward to raise funds for the construction of the Ram Temple. Prominent among the Muslim donors so far are Faizabad native Wasi Haider and Shah Bano, who have donated Rs 12,000 and Rs 11,000 respectively.
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board chairman Wasim Rizmi announced he was donating Rs 51,000 for the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya.
A Muslim woman is raising funds for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Zahara Begum, organiser at Tahera Trust, is encouraging members of the Muslim community to contribute funds for the temple of the Hindu god Lord Ram.
Ms Zahara appealed to fellow Muslims to donate money through Nidhi Samarpana, during the Nidhi Sekarana program for building of Ram temple at Ayodhya, purely on a voluntary basis. She said that Muslims can start contributing donate from Rs 10 to any larger amount of their choice towards the fund.
Non-Muslim have contributed to a great extent to the construction of the Ram Temple. Meanwhile, President Ram Nath Kovind has also donated Rs 5,00,100 for the construction of the Ram Mandir. Many celebrities including Akshay Kumar have donated for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
People should come together and participate in this divine activity and help in the construction of a great Ram temple at Ayodhya with an open heart.
