Former Bigg Boss contestant and television actress Sana Khan has recently been in the news for leaving the film industry. The actress was doing well in her career and enjoying mega stardom, but she shocked her fans after announcing her retirement from Bollywood.
She expressed her interest to serve humanity. Taking to photo-blogging Instagram platform, she wrote: ‘serve humanity and follow the orders of my Creator.’
Sana Khan got married to Gujarat based Mufti Anas on November 20. Post her wedding, Sana has changed her name now to Sayied Sana Khan on her Instagram account. Her wedding came as a surprise to her fans as there was no news of her marriage until a video started going viral on the internet.

According to reports, before quitting the film industry, Sana Khan was at the peak of her career. At that time, she used to charge a huge amount for each film. She was earning a whopping Rs 11 crore in a year. Although it has not been publicly revealed how much she would charge per film.
Born on 21st August 1988, Sana Khan kick-started her career with commercials. The controversial Amul Macho “Yeh toh bada toing” commercial earned her a ticket into the entertainment industry where she featured in several Tamil films. She also participated in Bigg Boss 6.
Sana was born and brought up in Mumbai. Her father is a Malayali Muslim from Kannur and her mother Saeeda is a resident of Mumbai. She received her education from Mumbai. Sana dreamed of becoming an actress since childhood.
Sana Khan made her debut in 2005 with the low budget film ‘Yeh hai high society’. She gave special appearances in the film ‘Bombay to Goa’, ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Gol’. When she did not get any significant success in Hindi films, she moved to the South Film Industry.
In 2014, Sana appeared in Salman Khan’s film ‘Jai Ho’. After this, she worked in other films as well. Akshay Kumar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017) was the last film that Sana Khan featured in.
She also participated in reality shows like ‘Bigg Boss 6′ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 6’. Sana Khan dated Melvin Louis for a while before calling it quits. Their break-up turned ugly as Khan made serious allegations against the choreographer. Sana Khan was last seen in the web series ‘Special OPS’.
