In another shocking news, a 16-year-old teenager was shot dead by the police forces in Russia after he tried to set fire to a local police station and stabbed a police officer. The terror attack that took place in the Muslim-dominated region of Tatarstan, has rocked the country. The police reached the spot immediately and gunned down the terrorist.
It has been reported that the teenager stabbed a cop and tried to burn down a police station. The terrorist shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ and called the police infidels before striking multiple times on an officer with the help of a sharp weapon.
In the meantime, the Investigative Committee of Russia notified that they would treat the complete incident as a ‘terror attack’ and ‘encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer’.
In a statement released by the police department of Russia, it reads: “The young man faced to react to repeated demands to stop his actions,” the statement reads. “During the arrest, he actively resisted and stabbed one officer multiple times. Taking into account his aggressive behaviour … officers used standard-issue weapons.”
After the rampage, the terrorist was finally shot dead in Kukmor in Tatarstan. Initially, the police official fired warning shots when the boy attempted to escape from the spot. However, the police official had to finally shoot him.
The young terrorist passed away even before the medical team arrived at the spot. The police officer who sustained multiple wounds was immediately taken to the nearby hospital. Thankfully, his life is out of danger.
In recent times, several attacks have been carried out by terrorists across the world. Recently, a terrifying terror attack took place at Notre Dame Church in Nice, France, in which three people have died. As per reports, two out of the three deceased in the terror attack were beheaded. Back-to-back terror attacks rocked France, leaving several people injured.
Apart from this, a French teacher Samuel Paty was also beheaded in broad daylight outside his school by an Islamic terrorist. The murder sparked massive outrage in the country and drew condemnation from political parties and President Emmanuel Macron, who called the crime an “Islamist terrorist attack”.
