Recently, two Muslim youth deceitfully entered a Hindu temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh and offered namaz over there. The incident took place at the Nand Baba Mandir in Nandgaon area on Thursday.
The two, identified as Faizal Khan and Mohammad Chand, have been caught by police for allegedly offering namaz without permission at Nand Baba temple. As per the reports, Khan and Chand managed to go inside the temple premises after they forged their identity. The duo then offered namaz within the temple compound. The temple priest raised an alarm as soon as he learned about the incident.
Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against four which includes Khan and Chand. Police said that the case was filed after two individuals identified as Mukesh Goswami and Shivhari Goswami submitted a police complaint.
The FIR states that Khan and Mohammed offered namaz without taking permission from temple authorities or informing them.
“Their act has hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community…We have a concern that these photographs do not get misused or if there is any foreign funding behind this incident. This should also be probed if this act intended to stir communal tensions,” read the FIR.
The accused have been booked under Sections 153-A, 295 and 505 of the Indian Penal Code. Meanwhile, Heavy security has been deployed in the area to prevent any untoward incident.
