The lucrative Indian Premier League tournament is being organized in the United Arab Emirates. On October 18, 2020, the ultra-popular T20 competition saw not one, not two but three Super Overs in a single day. The first Super Over was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad in which KKR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad.
On the same day, Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab played out a ‘double’ Super Over in which Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal took their team over the line.
Meanwhile, a beautiful girl, who was watching the match in the stadium, caught everyone’s attention. The girl became popular overnight because of her various expressions during the course of the match. The internet addressed her as the ‘Mystery Girl’ or ‘The Super Over Girl’.
The girl was later identified as Riana Lalwani, who is very active on Instagram. She has close to 61,000 followers with only 11 posts on her Instagram handle and she follows 700.
The cameraperson panned to the stands and caught the glimpse of Riana Lalwani, following which, she became an instant social media sensation. Several speculation were made by people. Some even speculated it could be Mumbai Indians’ batsman Ishan Kishan’s girlfriend.
According to Riana’s account on Facebook, she did her schooling from Jumeirah College in Dubai and is currently pursuing her graduation from the University of Warwick in Coventry, England. Lalwani is a Kings XI supporter and she seems to be enjoying all the fame that she has received after the thriller in Dubai.
