It has been more than two months since star Bollywood actor passed away under mysterious circumstances which left the whole country shocked. Bollywood is full of mysterious deaths of actors who passed away at a young age. Some believe that the movie Mafia silently murdered famous celebrities behind the scenes.
Sushant’s fans are still paying him rich tributes on social media with some throwback pictures and heart-melting video clips. But the actor’s ardent fans are still speculating something fishy in his death. The case is currently being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Ankita Lokhande, who was in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput for quite a long time before the couple parted ways in 2016, has reportedly shared the details of her chat with her ex-boyfriend to Bihar Police. Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande was interrogated by Bihar Police, as reported by India.com.
During the questioning, it has been learnt that Sushant had a chat with Ankita at the time of the release of her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi in 2019. The late actor had told Ankita that he was unhappy being in a relationship with his girlfriend Rhea and wanted to break up.
During the chat, Sushant Singh Rajput had wished her for her debut film and got very emotional. According to the sources, he told Ankita that he is ‘quite unhappy in the relationship and wants to end it as Rhea harassed him.”
Meanwhile, in his seven-page FIR, Sushant’s father accused Rhea of ‘cheating’, ‘criminal breach of trust’, ‘wrongful restraint’ besides ‘abetment of suicide’. However, Rhea Chakraborty has reportedly hired well-known and leading celebrity criminal lawyer Mr Satish Maneshinde to battle her case at the court of law.
Currently regarded as one of India’s ‘expensive’ lawyers, Satish Maneshinde has earlier fought high-profile cases and showcased his sheer abilities in the law and justice system.
The high profile lawyer has solved cases for politicians, actors, and celebrities. Satish has represented Sanjay Dutt in the 1993 Mumbai Blast case for possessing illegal weapons, “Drunk Driving” case for Salman Khan after his SUV ran over sleeping pavement dwellers in September 2002, killing one and injuring four people.
Born in 1965, the Bollywood’s go-to lawyer is 55 years old. Satish was born and brought up in a middle-class family in Dharwad, Karnataka, India.
He did his early schooling from a private school and after that, he had enrolled himself at the Karnataka University College of Law from where he did his graduate course in Bachelor of Commerce and then finished his LLB. degree.
Since his childhood days, he was more into law and order and always wanted to be one of the successful criminal lawyers in India.
It has been learnt that Satish has also defended controversial Mumbai Police inspector identified as Daya Nayak in a disproportionate assets case; underworld don Chhota Rajan’s wife Sujata Nikalje and bookie Shoban Mehta, who was accused of match-fixing allegations.
According to a report in Bollywood Life, Maneshinde charges Rs 10 lakh a day for representations.
In June this year, Maneshinde was hired as a special public prosecutor in the Palghar lynching case (2 Hindu religious leaders and their driver were lynched by a mob on suspicion of being child-lifters while they were travelling through Gadchinchale village in Palghar district on their way to Surat in a car on April 16).
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh filed an FIR in Patna against Rhea and others for abetment to suicide, misappropriation of funds and wrongful confinement. After Supreme Court’s order last week, Sushant’s death is now being investigated by the CBI.
Meanwhile, Satish Maneshinde, in a recent statement, dismissed the allegations against her as “complete nonsense”. But recruiting Satish Maneshinde as Rhea’s counsel triggered doubts as to why the prime accused Rhea needs such a high-profile lawyer if she has nothing to hide.
