Bollywood promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput is no more with us. His untimely demise left everyone in shock. He was a marvelous actor and a good human being. There are lots of findings and evidences which indicate that the actor’s death was not a simple suicide case.
Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against his late son and actor’s alleged ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, the case has taken a completely new turn. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected actor Rhea Chakraborty’s petition to transfer the investigation from Patna to Mumbai in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
The judge Hrishikesh Roy has dismissed Rhea’s plea. In a massive victory for Rajput’s family, the apex court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case and asked Maharashtra to assist with the probe.
In her petition, Chakraborty said that the Bihar Police have no jurisdiction in the case and that the actor’s death was being used for political gains ahead of elections in the state. Heightened media attention and sensationalising of the case is another ground on which Chakraborty has sought the transfer of the case to Mumbai.
Delivering the verdict, a single-judge bench led by Justice Hrishikesh Roy said, “When truth meets sunshine, justice will not prevail on the living alone but after Life’s fitful fever, now the departed will also sleep well. Satyameva Jayate.”
The top court also upheld the FIR registered in Patna by Sushant’s father K K Singh. “FIR registered at Patna was correct and reference to CBI is lawful. The Bihar government is competent enough to transfer case to CBI for investigation,” Justice Roy said.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna on July 25. In his complaint, he highlighted that Sushant Singh Rajput was under extreme mental pressure put by Rhea Chakraborty. Singh held Chakraborty responsible for abetment of his son’s suicide.
Sushant’s father also accused Rhea of giving conditions to Sushant Singh that whatever films he would be offered, he should ask the producers to take her as the female lead. But when Sushant denied, the problem had started. Rhea blackmailed Sushant that she would put up his “unstable mental condition on media”.
Moreover, Sushant Singh’s father cleared the air of how Rhea Chakraborty has been harsh to his son when he was alive. In the FIR, he mentioned how she would take control of Sushant Singh Rajput’s bank accounts, laptops, phone, passwords, and other priority possessions.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) also registered a case against Chakraborty and three members of her family members.
The 34-year-old actor died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence. It has been 2 months since Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode but the pain in fans’ hearts is very much the same.
Eventually, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has been handed over to the CBI after Mumbai police failed completely to crack the case.
