Time and again, veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan once proved that he is a man for the society. He has not only extended his fruitful contributions to the film industry but has also pledged to donate money to charity projects. As per the reports, he has helped hundreds and thousands of farmers clear their debts. This goes to show why Amitabh Bachchan is loved and admired by many.
Earlier, celebrities, cricketers and fans from every nook and corner of India wished Amitabh Bachchan and his family speedy recovery after they were tested positive for the coronavirus epidemic.
Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. Bachchan Sr tweeted, “T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff have undergone tests, results awaited .. According to the poster, the Amul girl can be seen standing next to the veteran actor who is sitting on a sofa and holding a mobile phone. The poster reads: “AB beats C”.
Sharing the poster, Amitabh Bachchan wrote: “Thank you Amul for continuously thinking of me in your unique poster campaigns. Varsho se Amul ne sammanit kiya hai mujhe. Ek sadharan shaksiyat ko ‘amulya’ bana dia tumne.”
Here’s the Instagram post:
The Instagram post received countless reactions from netizens. Among Twitterati, an internet user tried to troll Amitabh Bachchan by writing that he must have received a massive amount of money behind the scenes from the dairy brand. The internet user wrote: “Kam se kam muft mein toh amulya nahin banen honge… tay rakam li hogi. Saal dar saal badhi hogi “
(Which roughly translates to: “In the process of making you invaluable, they must have given you a fair amount of money, which must have grown with each passing year).”
Replying to the same, Big B gave a fitting reply to the troll. He wrote:
Bahut badi galat faimi mein chal rahen hain aap, miyan.
(Translating it into English: “You have been living with an impression that is entirely wrong. It is always healthy to think before you speak and keep one’s thoughts clean. I do not endorse Amul and have never have done so in the past. Before you shoot an arrow, watch out that it might just land on you, like it has in this case. In fact, in place of an arrow, there is an idiom that comes to my mind which describes another thing, which, my civilised upbringing prevents me from using.”)
