In our country, students commit suicide either by hanging or drinking poison due to increasing pressure in academics. Though there have been several attempts made by the school or college institutions to reduce the burden on students, they are still taking the extreme step to end their lives.
If sources are to be believed, every hour, one student commits suicide in India. According to a Lancet report, India has one of the world’s highest suicide rates for youth age 15 to 29. We have come across youngsters finding it difficult to cope with personal problems, failure in exams and careers.
One needs to realise that there is always a life after failure and without even realising that, youths take an infamous decision to end their lives. In shocking news, 18-year-old CBSE student committed suicide by hanging himself. The boy appeared for CBSE Class 12 board examination and managed to score 92 per cent.
Ayodhya Municipal Police haven’t received any suicide note yet. Police initiated a probe on this matter.
The station in-charge Renu Murab said that the boy sat with his parents and ate food at 8.30 pm on Tuesday night. After that, he then went off to sleep in his room. However, on the next morning, his mother saw her son hanging on the porch.
The family hasn’t given any statement so far. Due to a lack of a detailed statement, the actual reason for suicide has not been revealed yet. The boy wanted to become an engineer and as of now, the police have seized his phone.
CBSE declared CBSE 12th Result 2020 on July 13, 2020 and the overall pass percentage was 88.78 percent. This year, the pass percentage increased by 5.38% compared to last year i.e. 83.4%.
