Kangana Ranaut has proved us time and time again that she is the real QUEEN of Bollywood. There are several actresses in Bollywood but only Kangana gave bold and fearless statements and only she had the guts to say this.
The bold-spirited lady hails from Himachal Pradesh. From a girl who wanted to be a doctor to becoming an actress, her journey has been well and truly remarkable. She gave her first movie hit with “Gangster” and now, the actress directs her movies herself.
It is well-known that Bollywood industry has largely been influenced by people who haven’t heir link-ups in the industry. The so-called star kids of already established ones are already in the headlines for all the reasons and are allowed to stay there despite their success or failure.
On the contrary, talented ones are struggling to set their feet. However, Kangana Ranaut defeated nepotism and made it big in Bollywood. She always speaks the truth and take stands on issues that matter. She has also fought with the big stars of the industry, singlehandedly.
Kangana’s ugly spat with Hrithik Roshan
During a popular TV show Kangana Ranaut said, “He runs away when he sees me. In fact, when we broke up in 2014 and after that one year when he was harassing me and stalking me, I complained to his father. I told him that his son is harassing me, stalking me, has hacked my account and he’s not letting me get into any other relationship. So his father said I’m going to arrange a meeting for you. Since then, I’m hoping to get a meeting with him to have a two-word conversation with him and ask him that he’s telling the world he doesn’t know me.”
On Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee with Karan, Kangana Ranaut had launched a scathing attack on Karan Johar, calling him out on his own chat show.
“In my biopic, if it is ever made, you will play this stereotypical Bollywood biggie who is very snooty and completely intolerant to outsiders and flag bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia. You will have a huge part to play in my biopic. I like the antagonist in you in my biopic. You have been the driving force in my life. If it wasn’t for all the rejections and mocking, I wouldn’t have been here. Karan, you made fun of my English on this couch. But I haven’t held this against you.”
On ex-boyfriend Adhyayan Suman, Kangana had been accused of thrashing ex-boyfriend Adhyayan Suman. The actress had a quick response to the accusations.
“He was 95 kgs and I was of 49 kgs. How could I ever hit him? I wouldn’t be able to? However, now that I look at it, I should have hit him.”
Talking about her past exes, Kangana said: “If I told you some of the names (of my exes), you’d be shocked that even this loser has dumped me. They come back but then I can’t take them back, because by then I’ve moved on to another loser.”
Kangana’s opinion on award shows is clearly evident. She said bluntly, “I will not attend award ceremonies as they are merely for commercial purposes.”
When Kangana slammed Shabana Azmi. As reported by Pinkvilla, during an interaction with the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi actress, she said,
“People like Shabana Aazmi calling for halt on cultural exchange, they are the ones who promote Bharat tere Tukade honge gangs…. why did they organise an event in Karachi in the first place when Pakistani artists have been banned after Uri attacks and now they are trying to save face. Film industry is full of such anti-nationals who boost enemies morals in many ways but right now is the time to focus on decisive actions…. Pakistan ban is not the focus, Pakistan destruction is.”
When Kangana Ranaut was asked if she should work with the Khans of Bollywood, she said: “Why should I work with the Khans? In the beginning, I wanted to have a conventional, very easy route where I can work with big heroes and be a big heroine. Now I get a lot of offers to work with the Khans. When I wanted work, nobody was ready to work with me. Now that I’m my own hero on the sets, why should I work with other heroes?”
When Kangana Ranaut called Alia Bhatt ‘puppet’ of Karan Johar
“I suggested that she grows some spine and supports an important film about woman empowerment and nationalism…if she doesn’t have a voice of her own and her existence is all about being KJo’s (Karan Johar) puppet then I don’t consider her successful.”
On being asked if she would like to join politics in the future, she immediately said she doesn’y have any intention to join politics.
“I don’t have any intention to join politics or an election campaign of a political party. Many people feel that I want to enter politics but that’s not true. There are few actors in our industry like Ranbir Kapoor where he has been seen talking in an interview that ‘We have regular supply of water and electricity at my home so, why should I comment about politics?’ But I feel because of this country’s people you are living in your luxurious home and you are travelling in your Mercedes so, how can you talk like that? This is irresponsible behaviour and I am not that kind of person.”
When Kangana Ranaut slammed nepotism after Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise. Kangana had even questioned why his movies were not acknowledged at award shows?
Bollywood promising actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 (Sunday). His unexpected demise left everyone in shock, including his co-actress and ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. His death by suicide was because he was going through a mental bouts of depression. Though the reason was still unclear, the whole nation has been indicting nepotism for the death of this extremely talented actor.
Died at an early age of 34, Sushant Singh Rajput left behind assets worth of crores. The entire nation is finding it really hard to believe that the extremely talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput left all of us.
Kangana Ranaut, who has always been extremely vocal about the issue had released a video on Twitter reiterating the same.
In a video shared by the official social media handle of Team Kangana Ranaut, Kangana says,
“Sushant Singh Rajput ki maut ne humein jhinjhor ke rakh diya hai, magar kuch is mein bhi ek parallel narrative chala rahe hai. Woh ye ki jinka dimaag kamzor hota hai woh depression mein aate hai aur su!c!de kar lete hai. Jo banda Stanford ki scholarship…woh rank-holder hai apne engineering ke entrance ki, uska dimaag kamzor kaise ho sakta hai? (Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left all of us devastated, but some are looking for a parallel narrative even here. That whoever has a weak mind, they slip into depression and kill themselves. A guy who has a scholarship from Stanford… he is a rank holder of his engineering entrance, how can his mind be weak?)”
Kangana Ranaut also questioned why Sushant Singh Rajput’s movies were not acknowledged at award shows?
“Unko unki debut film Kai Po Che ke liye koi acknowledgement nahi mila, ya MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, ya Kedarnath ya Chhichhore. Gully Boy jaisi ek wahiyat film ko saare awards milte hai, Chhichhore is the best film and by the best director, par unki film ko koi acknowledgement nahi. (He didn’t get any acknowledgement for his debut film, Kai Po Che, or MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, or Kedarnath, or Chhichhore. A bad film like Gully Boy gets all awards, Chhichhore is the best film by the best director, but his film gets no acknowledgement.)”
She went on to add saying that some of Sushant’s last posts are clearly evident that he had been literally begging people to watch his films
“Aap agar unke last kuch posts dekhe, woh clearly keh raha hai, logon ko beg kar raha hai ki please meri filmein dekho, mera koi Godfather nahi hai, mujhe nikal diya jayega iss industry se. Apne interviews mein woh yeh zahir karta hai ki mujhe yeh industry kyu nahi apnati hai? I feel like a leftover (sic). Toh kya iss haadse ki koi buniyaad nahin hai? (If you look at his last few posts, he is clearly saying, begging people to see his films, that I don’t have a Godfather, I will be thrown out of this industry. Even in his interviews, he says why doesn’t this industry make me its own? I feel like a leftover. So doesn’t this incident have any reason?)”
Just like Kangana, Sushant Singh was an outsider and didn’t have big background. However, he made a mark in Bollywood with sheer talent and good work
“Humein aapse kuch nahi chahiye, humein aapki filmein nahi chahiye, lekin jo hum khud karte hai, aap uski acknowledgement humein kyu nahi dete hai? Main khud jo filmein direct karti hoon, unn superhit filmon ko yeh flop ghoshit karte hai. Mujhpe chhey cases kyu daale gaye? Kyu mujhe jail mein daalne ki koshish ki gayi? (We don’t need anything from you, we don’t need your films, but the films that we do on our own, why don’t you acknowledge us for that? The films I myself direct, why do you declare those superhit films flop? Why have you slammed six cases on me? Why did you want to put me in jail?)”
Kangana Ranaut was extremely angry on a certain section of the media, who she thinks the media wrote against Sushant
“Kuch journalist aise hai jo Sushant pe blind items likhte hai ki woh psychotic hai, neurotic hai, addict hai. Sanjay Dutt ki addiction toh aapko badi cute lagti hai. (There is also a section of journalists who write blinds on Sushant, that he is psychotic, he is neurotic, he is an addict. But you find Sanjay Dutt’s addiction very cute.)”
Kangana Ranaut has some questions about Sushant’s death. “Woh mujhe message karte hai ki tumhara bohot difficult time hai, tum koi aisa-waisa step mat utha lena. Aisa kyu kehte hai mujhe? Kyu mere dimaag mein daalna chahte hai ki aap su!c!de kar lijiye? (These people message me that you’re going through a difficult time, you don’t take any such step. Why do they tell me these things? Why do they want to put these things in my head, that you should kill yourself?)”
Kangana has doubts whether it was a suicide or a planned murder. She further asks about Sushant’s death. “Toh yeh su!c!de thi ya planned murder tha? (So was it a su!c!de or a planned murder?)”
Kangana feels Sushant made one mistake that he always believed in them. “Sushant ki galti yeh thi ki woh unki baat maan gaya. Unhone kaha tum worthless ho, toh woh maan gaya. He didn’t remember what his mother told him. Woh log chahte hai ki woh itithaas likhe, aur usmein ye likhe ki Sushant kamzor dimaag ka tha. Woh nahi batayenge ki sachchai kya hai. Toh humein decide karna hai who will write history. We will decide that.
(Sushant’s mistake was that he believed in them. They told him that he was worthless, and he believed that. He didn’t remember what his mother told him. Those people want that they write history, and in it, they write that Sushant was of a weak mind. They will not say what is the truth. So we need to decide who will write history. We will decide that.)”
