In good news, The Pir Panjal range, a part of the inner Himalayan region, running across the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, is now easily visible to the naked eye and people of Srinagar couldn’t have asked for a pleasing sight. Had it not been for this lockdown, then people wouldn’t have caught the breathtaking pictures.
Pictures of the mesmerizing view were tweeted out by a journalist identified as Waseem Andrabi. He wrote, ‘Pir Panjal range of mountains is visible from Srinagar city on April 23, 2020, in Srinagar’.
For the unversed, Pir Panjal is the largest range of the Lesser Himalayas which is situated near the bank of the Sutlej river. It actually dissociates itself from the tallest peak and forms a divide between the rivers Beas and Ravi on one side and the Chenab on the other side.
The breathtaking images soon spread like wildfire on social media.
