In a shocking incident, a Jama Masjid Imam has spoken ill of Tablighi Jamaat attendees who are spitting on the walls and roaming nude around the hospital.
While speaking to the media, he referred to Tablighi Jamaat members as terrorists as they are bent upon spreading coronavirus in the country. He says that Markaz people, who recently attended prayer gatherings organised by the Tablighi Jamaat, are deliberately throwing feces and urine on doctors.
Imam says we all must follow lockdown rules imposed by the government to prevent the further spread of COVID-19. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already urged every citizen of the country to maintain social distancing, he added.
He held Tablighi Jamaat people responsible for Delhi riots which recently broke out in the national capital over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC). During the riots, anti-CAA protesters set vehicles on fire and vandalized public and private property. It was their intention to do jihad in the name of protest.
Imam further says that The government has already urged all Indian citizens to avoid social gatherings as part of precautionary measures to contain coronavirus outbreak, but these people are standing by their words that they will not abide by shutdown guidelines made by the government. On top of that, they are defecating in the hospital where patients are treated. They are misbehaving with doctors who are putting their lives and treating patients in this hard time.
The situation at the quarantine facilities is becoming from bad to worse where Jamaati patients have been put under observation. They have been roaming around without their pants, nude, and listening to vulgar songs. They are asking for cigarettes from the housekeeping staff and making vulgar signs at nurses.
He said that people who gathered at Nizamuddin Markaz mosque should be taught a lesson by punishing them. At a time when the rest of the world is avoiding leaving home in the current outbreak of coronavirus, thousands of People made their presence at the Mosque to offer Namaz. Recently, they allegedly hurled bottles filled with urine from a quarantine center in Sector 16 in Dwarka
Earlier, taking his anger out at Markaz people, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thakeray said that that there is no point of treating people who gathered at the Tablighi Jamaat event in large numbers, and rather they should be shot dead instead.
Taking strong objection of the incident, the task of medical screening has been handed over to the Indian Army. Now, the Indian Army has come forward to take the responsibility of screening duties in the Narela camp.
