Disturbed over marital discord and adultery by wife, an Indian Army man committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. The deceased man was identified as Pravin, a resident of Aharwan village, Haryana. 24-year-old Army jawan was posted in the Delhi Cantt and had returned home on leave for 15 days.
Before committing suicide, the deceased went live on social media and recorded his statement. Soon, the video went viral on social media after his death. In the video, Pravin can be heard stating, “My wife has cheated on me and she does not listen to me at all, she does not agree with anything I say”. Pravin also accused his mother-in-law of having ruined his family life and said, “My mother-in-law has spoilt my family life, she has taken my wife away from me, my wife also supports her mother and always follows her instructions”.
The deceased man can also be heard saying that he was married in Tikri Brahmin year and a half ago and the couple had a son as well. According to Pravin, his wife had left him alone and moreover Pravin’s parents also did not support him. “I served in the army for 6 years, my wife has left me alone, her mother always threatens to harm me, I have become alone and I am fed up with my life so I have resigned from Indian army, I do not want to live in this world anymore,” the deceased said in the video.
The incident took place near a railway track where the deceased threw himself before the train. The incident came to light after his video went viral on social media. some commuters spotted the mutilated body of the jawan and informed the police. Soon after receiving the information cops rushed to the spot and took the body to the hospital where an autopsy was performed.
It is yet to be ascertained whether it was suicide or an accident. Police are trying to find if there is any eye witness to the incident.
