Amid the atrocities on minorities in Pakistan, A 24-year-old Hindu girl was allegedly abducted and was forcefully converted to Islam in Pakistan’s Hala city. The world knows that atrocities against Hindus and Sikhs have grown to a great extent in Pakistan since it came into existence. Minorities in the neighboring country are being persecuted. Thousands of minority girls have been abducted and forcefully converted to Islam and married off in Pakistan. No one can raise their voice against atrocities, if someone does, his voice is suppressed.
The incident took place on Sunday where the woman was forcefully taken away by some miscreants from her wedding venue. The victim was identified as Bharti Bai, who was about to get married to a Hindu man in the city.
Bharti Bai’s father Kishore Das claimed that the wedding ceremony of his daughter was going on well but just then one kidnapper named Shah Rukh Gul came stormed into the venue with several men and took his daughter away in broad daylight. The miscreants were accompanied by some policemen, he said.
Later on, Bharti was converted to Islam and married to Shah Rukh Gul and her picture along with Shah Rukh was published on social media.
Her picture with documents on social media shows that she had converted to Islam which could be the reason why she had been taken away from the wedding ceremony.
Bharti’s new name is said to be ‘Bushra’, after her conversion as per her documents. Jamiat-ul-Uloom Islamia, located at Allama Muhammad Yousuf Banuri town in Karachi, issued the certificate of Bharti’s conversion while her conversion was witnessed and certified by Mufti AbuBakar Saeed ur Rehman.
As per her National Identity Card, details of which were shared in the documents, her permanent address is in Hala. However, her temporary address is of Gulshan Iqbal area in Karachi, which may be taken as her current area of residence.
It is yet to be ascertained when she got married to Shah Rukh Gul. However, her marriage document shows that the Muslim man is also a resident of Hala. Shah Rukh, the son of Nisar Ahmed, is also 24 years old.
Bharti’s family is pleading for her return. They claim that their daughter was kidnapped before the eyes of local police and no one mustered up the courage to save her.
Locals in the area said that Shah Rukh Gul approached the police and claimed Bushra as his wife after he learnt of her wedding with another man. The family was marrying off their daughter illegally, Gul had claimed.
