The 18-year-old Vishakaha Jadon proved that she can bounce back after a failure and that’s why she was able to carve out a niche for herself as a successful student. This is the story of a Welder’s daughter who constantly worked hard to clear NEET exam. She failed in the first time but she gave absolutely everything in her next attempt to make sure to get over the line with all All India Rank of 3,974.
Vishakha Jadon hails from Kota city where she lives with her parents in Mahaveer Nagar Extension area. With the scholarship she received from the state, her dream came true.
“The journey to become a doctor has now begun and all this has been made possible by government scholarships and support of my dadaji and fee concession given by my coaching institute,” she said.
“The scholarship amount of around one lakh rupees enabled me to secure admission in a coaching institute of the city to prepare for the entrance exam for admission in a medical college,” Vishakha said.
Vishakha’s family situation is difficult. It’s because of her grandfather’s pension amount that kept her going in academics as her father’s salary meets the home needs and wants. Vishakha scored 96.17 per cent marks in 10th class in 2014. Much to her hard work, she received government’s Priyadarshini Award of Rs 75,000.
In 12th class, she scored 84 per cent marks. Though Vishakha failed to get admission in a medical college in her first attempt she secured the All India Rank 45,0000, she bounced back well to secure even a better rank in her second attempt. She lived away from her home for two years in a bid to prepare for her NEET examination.
