To have some fun on a business trip to Loiret region for his employer TSO, a railway construction company, a Frenchman by the name of M Xavier died while having sex. Yes, the man didn’t hesitate to have sex with a ‘complete stranger’, according to Fox News.
As per the reports, he suffered a heart attack while having sex, and then immediately died. Well, this happened back in 2013 but very recently, the Court of Appeal of Paris ruled his death as a ‘workplace accident’ and has also asked the organisation for which he was working to compensate the family of the worker.
However, the company on their part had even argued that M Xavier’s sexual activity was not work-related. Moreover, as the man died in a hotel room different from the one he was actually assigned, his demise was not the company’s liability.
The company had made it very clear and had argued in the court that M Xavier’s sexual activity was actually not a part of work.
Needless to say, the Paris court argument was that it did not really matter whether an accident on business trip occurs on work or personal time, unless an employer has valid evidance an employee “interrupted his mission” for personal reasons.
The court, in reponse argued that sexual activity “is a matter of everyday life, like taking a shower or a meal.”
