Very recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged sportspersons, Bollywood personalities, politicians among several others to do their bit in inspiring the youths of the nation for a record-breaking huge voter turnout.
PM Modi tagged top cricketers like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar and also non-cricketing personalities like Kidambi Srikanth, Saina Nehwal, Geeta Phogat, Neeraj Chopra. Modi also tagged Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
“Voting is not only a right but it’s also a duty. It is time to inspire and motivate youth in your own Andaz to vote so that we can strengthen Apna Democracy & Apna country,” PM Modi tweeted.
Just a day ago, PM Modi tagged Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin and urged them to encourage voter awareness.

The forthcoming Lok Sabha elections are less than three weeks away, with the first phase to start on April 11. It should be noted that the polls will be conducted across the nation till May 19 and counting of the votes is scheduled to take place on May 23 and results will likely to be declared on the same day itself.
