With so many records to boast about India’s development, their failure to stop rape cases is haunting like hell. Rape is the fourth most common crime in India. The level of rape cases in our nation rose alarmingly. It is learnt that most of the rape cases were committed by someone known to the victim.
In yet another shocking case, a Delhi Police on Saturday detained a man for ‘allegedly raping a 3-year-old girl’ in the Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh area. The accused has been identified as the father of girl’s tuition teacher, cops confirmed the news, adding that he lived in the same neighbourhood as the girl.
“The accused has been arrested,” police said. An FIR has been filed under the appropriate section of the Indian Penal Code and further investigation in the matter is in progress, police said.
