No less than 44 CRPF paramilitary troopers lost their lives when a 20-year-old youth identified as Adil Dar, an infamous terrorist from Pulwama rammed the explosive-laden vehicle carrying over 350 kg of explosives into a CRPF convoy of 70 vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, in what was the deadliest attack in the last 3 decades.
In reply, India took revenge as Indian Air Force jets strike across LoC on Tuesday only to destroy a major terrorist camp in Balakote sector, according to the sources. It has been said that the airstrike happened at 3.30 am and several mirage aircraft dropped 1,000 kg bombs on terrorist camps across the Line of Control.
Terrorist launchpads in Balakot, Chakothi and Muzaffarabad were totally destroyed in the IAF air strikes and that Jaish-e-Mohammed control rooms were also doomed. The airstrikes have demolished Hizbul, Jaish and Lashkar camps in 21 minutes, neutralising at least 325 soldiers and terrorists.
As India avenges its brave 44 martyrs, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan exclusively talked to The Youth co-founder Mrityunjay Chaubey and said, “Just like Lord Hanuman went into Sri Lanka and destroyed it, our airforce soldiers went inside Pakistan and destroyed it”.
Sumitra Mahajan is the 16th Speaker of the Lok Sabha and she belongs to BJP. In 2014, she got elected to the Lok Sabha for the 8th time and is one of three members of the Lok Sabha to do so.
