In recent news, Legislators from several parties attending the “Delhi Assembly budget session” gave a standing ovation on Tuesday to the IAF for deftly executing air strikes on terror camps inside Pakistan’s territory. Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Nivas Goel lauded the Indian Air Force for the air strikes.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia dedicated the budget to the soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack. “We are proud of our armed forces and I would like to dedicate our budget to the jawans who sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama terror attack,” he echoed in his budget speech.
“I am presenting the budget at a time when the country is proud of the IAF strike after the Pulwama attack. This budget is to fulfil the dream of the martyrs, for their families and their children who can gain better education,” he further added.
In the midst of chants of ‘Inquilab Zindabad, Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vande Mataram’, BJP legislators were marshalled out by the speaker “for chanting pro-Modi slogans instead of praising the belligerent IAF that destroyed terror camps.
The Speaker went on to add, saying that BJP MLAs chanted “Modi Zindabad” instead of felicitating the Indian Air Force. Needless to say, the opposition parties accused the Speaker of not giving enough time to appreciate the strikes.
“I salute the bravery of Indian Air Force pilots who have made us proud by striking terror targets in Pakistan,” Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.

Indian Air Force was devastatingly impressive in its decisive approached as it bombed terror camps at several locations across the Line of Control (LoC) on the Pakistani side. The deadly strike comes just 12 days after the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group executed the suicide bombing attack in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
