Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in the headlines recently after he took to Instagram to share an amusing video highlighting him including some school children. The video depicts the jolly convo between PM Modi and the school children while serving ‘late’ lunch to the kids at the Akshaya Patra Foundation.
The Prime Minister visited Vrindavan on February 11 and served food to the school children who come from the economically backward sections of the society to mark the three billionth meal which was offered by Akshaya Patra Foundation. For your information, Akshaya Patra is a Bengaluru-based non-profit organisation that works with the government on mid-day meal schemes.

Had a good conversation with the children. They didn’t mind the late lunch 🙂 #AkshayPatra
According to the video, PM Modi talks to a boy saying, “Barah baje milna chahiye tha khaana. Der se aaya Pradhan Mantri, aapka khaana late ho gaya, haina? (The meal should have been served at 12 noon. The Prime Minister arrived late and delayed your meal, right?).”
Before the boy could tell, a girl sitting next to him boldly intervened the scene and told PM Modi “Hum subah khaa ke aaye the (We ate in the morning and came here),” which made the PM laugh a bit.
The video which was shared on Instagram got more than 2.4 million views with loads of comments and still counting. “Had a good conversation with the children. They didn’t mind the late lunch :)” PM Modi wrote while sharing the video.
