UP CM Yogi Adityanath announces ‘tax exemption’ for movie ‘Uri’ in his state
Apart from that, the Uttar Pradesh government made a clear-cut decision to give the whole state GST exemption to Bollywood Blockbuster ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. The move comes at the cabinet meeting held in Allahabad, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who took over the meeting, told the reporters.
“This is a movie on the surgical strikes, the cabinet has decided to exempt it from state GST. This film is about the country’s valour and will instil a feeling of nationalism and patriotism… This will help youth and all citizens of the country to see it,” UP CM Adityanath said.
‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is written and directed by Aditya Dhar. The film is based on the Indian Army’s surgical strikes on terror launch pads in Pakistan in the year 2016 as a retaliation for the ‘Uri attack’ that claimed lives of 17 Army personnel.
Aditya Dhar’s Uri is smashing records at the box-office as it thrives to draw positive reviews from the fans worldwide. It very much appears to be that Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam’s film has already registered itself as the first official blockbuster of 2019.
The film has already surpassed the 150-crore mark in Box office collections as it continues to run successfully in the movie theatres. Uri: the surgical strike is now in its 3rd week of running successfully and the cinema halls garner more traffic as fans continue to shout for the most popular dialogue of the movie that goes by the phrase: How’s the Josh!
