An old video of Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma on the show has once again came to light on the internet. In the video clip, which rewinds the clock back to 2011, Ranveer can be openly heard asking Anushka, “Hey, you want your a** pinched? I’m right here.”
As Karan giggles while taking a sip of his coffee, the actress looks totally confused as she paused for a second looking at Karan and then beat up Ranveer Singh by saying, “Don’t talk to me like that.”
Though it happened some many years ago, Ranveer Singh, now is at the receiving end of a lot of criticism for his offensive comment. Twitter users are also calling out Karan for not only taking no notice for such remarks but laughing along.

However, a fan club of Ranveer defended the actor amid heated discussion and claimed that Ranveer Singh “regrets” saying those things and now that people should let him go. In one of the scenes of the apology video, Ranveer can be heard saying that the last time he came on Karan’s show, it was a “disaster”. He added that he shared the couch with Anushka was the “only saving grace”.
“It was a disaster because it was my first big talk show. I didn’t know what to say,” Ranveer said, calling Karan a “needler (sic)”. “I now know better. I have got my guards up,” he added.
